As of mid-November 2007 - Filed November 2002 in U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. The case was certified for class action to include all owner-operators who, after Nov. 1, 1998, had or have leases with Landstar Inway, Landstar Ranger or Landstar Ligon.

However, the judge reversed himself on that point, and the trial went forward in January 2007 with only a handful of individual named truckers as plaintiffs. Following trial, the judge made a number of rulings in favor of Landstar, and OOIDA appealed.
