2/13/09-A bill has died that sought to prohibit the use of wireless communication devices while driving.
SF64 called for outlawing the use of hand-held phones, including text messaging devices, by all drivers. Exceptions would have been made for CBs.
The bill remained in committee at the deadline to advance from the chamber, effectively killing it for the year.
