Colorado truckers: We are down to the wire on a final vote in the state’s House on the transportation bill that would allow existing freeways to be converted to toll roads. Contact your state representative now.

There are lots of problems with tolls roads and no amount of “innovative finance” mumbo jumbo will change reality.

• Tolls roads are double taxation at the extreme.
• They will force drivers to use other less safe roads.
• Tolls will increase costs for any small business as well as other businesses in Colorado and cost us all jobs.

Please take time now to contact your state representative. The bill – SB108 – could come up for a third and final vote on the House floor as early as Wednesday, Feb. 25.
