6/9/08-A bill in the House Transportation Committee would authorize the possible lease of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Sponsored by Reps. Dwight Evans, D-Philadelphia, and Steven Cappelli, R-Lycoming, HB2593 would allow private operators to take over control of the mainline of the turnpike and the Northeast Extension.
