6/16/08-Gov. Bill Ritter has signed a bill into law authorizing new permits and permit fees for the operation of overweight motor vehicles with divisible loads on non-interstate highways.
The new law, previously HB1257, mandates the vehicles have a four-axle grouping with a gross weight up to 110,000 pounds. Vehicles found in violation of the axle limits would face double fines.
