10/3/08-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a bill into law lowering the threshold for when judges can require interlock devices as punishment for drunken driving.
The new law, previously SB1190, lowers the threshold for when judges can require interlock devices as punishment for drunken driving from 0.20 percent to 0.15 percent.

8/28/08-A bill has advanced to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s desk that would lower the threshold for when judges can require interlock devices as punishment for drunken driving.
Sponsored by Sen. Jenny Oropeza, D-Long Beach, SB1190 would lower the threshold from 0.20 percent to 0.15 percent.

8/13/08-The Assembly approved a bill that would lower the threshold for when judges can require interlock devices as punishment for drunken driving.
Sponsored by Sen. Jenny Oropeza, D-Long Beach, SB1190 would lower the threshold from 0.20 percent to 0.15 percent.
The bill has been sent back to the Senate for final authorization before moving to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s desk.

7/8/08-The Assembly Public Safety Committee moved a bill to the Assembly Appropriations Committee that would lower the threshold for when judges can require interlock devices as punishment for drunken driving. The Senate already approved it.
