6/19/08-Gov. Sarah Palin has signed a bill into law that prohibits sending text messages and watching DVDs while driving. It takes effect Sept. 1.
The new law, previously HB88, calls for violators to be charged with misdemeanors. The crime would be a felony if someone is injured or killed.
