MINNESOTA FATIGUE COMPLAINTS

OOIDA has received numerous complaints from drivers being placed out-of-service in Minnesota for fatigue even though they may be fully rested and in compliance with the hours-of-service regulations.  Commercial vehicle enforcement officers have been sidelining drivers for ten consecutive hours after an interrogation based largely upon a fatigue checklist developed by the Minnesota State Patrol.  If you have been put out-of-service for fatigue in Minnesota, please contact the OOIDA Business Assistance Department at: 1-800-444-5791.
