On December 22, 2009, Tulsa-based Arrow Trucking shut down operations. The abrupt action affected more than 1,400 drivers, many on the road. On that Tuesday afternoon, OOIDA established a Facebook page to serve as an information network and during Christmas it grew to more than 5,700 participants. As questions continue to pour in to OOIDA headquarters, we’ve prepared some FAQs.
I was in a lease purchase with Arrow, will the lender work with me? I heard all they want is to secure their collateral.
The Arrow Trucking bankruptcy creates the worst possible scenario for a driver who has signed a lease-purchase agreement with a company. It is NOT clear if lenders will be providing clear titles or offering you a deal you can live with. Make sure you have documents that detail your lease purchase arrangement and the payments you made. Watch our daily news on all OOIDA Web sites for the latest developments.
Who do you call if you spot an abandoned Arrow tractor or trailer? Is there a reward for this information?
To report abandoned International tractor or Utility trailers, call 918-425-5100. That's American Lender Services, a recovery company in Tulsa working nationwide. The lender has authorized a $200 award for first tip that leads to recovery. If the abandoned truck is a KW or Freightliner, call Daimler Financial 877-294-9679. Despite the rumors, Daimler says there's no award for info.
I still have my truck, who do I call?
If you have a Freightliner or Kenworth truck, call Daimler Financial at 877-294-9679.
If you have an International, call Navistar at 800-233-9121.
I didn’t get my last paycheck; what can I do?
Employees at Arrow Trucking that reside in Oklahoma can call the State Labor Commissioner to file a claim about getting their paychecks at (888) 269-5353 or file a claim for their paycheck at www.laborok.gov.
If you are a former Arrow driver and do not live in OK, you should file for unemployment in the state of your residence, according to Mary Bebout, Labor Compliance Officer/Supervisor, OK Dept. of Labor.
Where can I find a job?
Workforce Oklahoma will be holding a special “Rapid Response” event for those put out of work by Arrow Trucking. It will cover everything from filing for unemployment to applying for new jobs. Workforce says they've already heard from upwards of 20 companies looking to hire. The event takes place Tuesday, Dec. 29, at ... Central Tech in Sapulpa. Two sessions will be offered, one at 9 a.m. and the other at 1 p.m.

No, OOIDA is providing information and acting as a conduit for individuals that would like to help.
Does it cost anything to join a class action lawsuit?
According to the lead attorney in the Klehr lawsuit against Arrow, the law firm will be paid on a contingency fee basis. This means that the firm won't compensated unless they win. If recovery is made, they'll ask the court for a lot of money. Be sure to read and understand the agreement before joining the lawsuit. You can read the agreement here -- http://www.klehr.com/C7756B/assets/files/News/Arrow.Final.forms1.pdf ![]()
Is there anyone at Arrow to confirm employment for those former employees trying to get jobs?
While Arrow's offices are completely closed, David Alan Turner, Safety Director for Arrow Trucking will try to help Arrow drivers obtain copies of their employee records for use in applying for new jobs. Contact him at dalanturner@gmail.com. He told Land Line on Jan. 22 he had helped more than 300 drivers in the last weeks.
