of the Business Services Department.
The representatives
of OOIDA's Business Services Department are trucking professionals
with many years of experience in dealing with the day-to-day
issues and complexities of running your business, dealing
with federal regulations, acquiring authority and interpreting
contractual agreements.
If you need
assistance with a particular problem, or need advice on
what you might believe to be unfair business practices

Services |
Whether it's for
a load, an escrow account or any other transporting
service rendered - the Business Services Department
can help. Our in-house program helps members collect
on bad debts from carriers, brokers and shippers.
OOIDA takes pride in the 90 percent success rate
of the collections department. In the past year,
they have collected in excess of $250,000 owed
to members. |

to Action |
| You can make a difference
with lawmakers and policy makers. OOIDA's grass
roots political action program urges Congress
to make decisions that are in the best interest
of professional truckers. When an important issue
that affects you comes up, we will send and post
on our website (www.ooida.com) a "Call to
Action" to describe the issue. We encourage
you to then write or call your Congressman and/or
Senator to express your views. The Association's
lobbyists in Washington will follow up on your
behalf to make sure that your voice is heard. |
