Permits & Licensing Renewals

JANUARY:
 

UCR- Annual renewal Jan. 1 with no grace period.

IFTA- Annual renewal with a grace period to Feb. 28th.

NM- Annual renewal Jan. 1 with no grace period.

OR-  Annual renewal Jan. 1 with no grace period. Also, if you file monthly they must be post marked by the 15th of following month.

NYHUT- Renews every three years.
MARCH:
 

IFTA, NYHUT, KYU, & NM- Quarterly returns must be filed and post marked by the end of the following month.

OR- Post marked by 15th of following month if monthly filer. If you file quarterly post mark by end of following month.
JUNE:
 

2290- Annual renewal with grace period to August 31th.

IFTA, NYHUT, KYU, & NM- Quarterly returns must be filed and post marked by the end of the following month.

OR- Post marked by 15th of following month if monthly filer. If you file quarterly post mark by end of following month.
SEPTEMBER:
 

IFTA, NYHUT, KYU, & NM- Quarterly returns must be filed and post marked by the end of the following month.

OR- Post marked by 15th of following month if monthly filer. If you file quarterly post mark by end of following month.
NOVEMBER:
  UCR, IFTA, NM, & OR- You should start getting annual renewal notices from states but if not, you should start your annual renewals.
DECEMBER:
 

IFTA, NYHUT, KYU, & NM- Quarterly returns must be filed and post marked by the end of the following month.

OR-Post marked by 15th of following month if monthly filer. If you file quarterly post mark by end of following month.
Special Note:
 

IRP- Each state has different expiration so PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR EXPIRATION ON CAB CARD. You should receive a renewal packet from state about 45-60 days before expiration, however it is your responsibility to file a timely renewal.

As with the IRP it is your responsibility to file timely annual renewals and file timely report on all your accounts even if the state neglects to send you return or renewal forms.

 

PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX- AR. & KS. levy an personal property tax on CMV's registered to operate in their states. If you travel any miles in these states you owe a personal property tax to the state. Both states mail out a Property Valuation packet in late Feb. early March due back by end of March.  AR. will mail tax bill as soon as they process the return, KS. will mail tax bill in Aug.
